Volunteer

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization

The Allegheny County Democratic Committee involves volunteers in many ways: phone banks, letter-writing campaigns, voter registration efforts, research, website updates, tech, and more. We also call on volunteers to staff many of our events throughout the year.

To volunteer with ACDC, please contact us by phone at 412-481-5646 or by email at info@alleghenydems.com, or use the form below. If you have any specific skills and interests, please tell us that too!

You’ll be contacted by the ACDC Volunteer Coordinator, Colleen Cooke.

In addition:

  • Local Democratic committees may also have volunteer opportunities. Each ward or municipality in Allegheny Couny has a Committee responsible for local organization. See the list of committees and our events page.
  • Campaigns welcome volunteers. See our voter guide for links to specific campaigns in 2026.

Volunteer sign-up

Let us know how you can help. Your sign-up goes to Ross Township Democratic Committee — not to a county-wide list — and someone here will be in touch.

Volunteer opportunities

Check anything you want to hear about when we need volunteers. Checking a box signs you up to be contacted, not to a commitment.

Additional actions

These generally call for some background or skill in the activity. Check the ones you can help with.

Your information

So we have a way to reach you when something comes up.

Filled in for you. Change it if you live somewhere else — you can still volunteer with Ross Township Democratic Committee.

Not sure? Leave these blank — we can look them up.
